i'm not even going to europe for another two and a half months and i'm already fretting. it's going to be a calculated process picking out clothes items that will look effortlessly cool while being comfortable and fitting in a backpack. in that order. i refuse to wear yoga pants the entire time. this has seriously been a waking issue for me the past three days. i've already begun to strategize while shopping. im test running outfits in my brain as i write this.

i had a job interview today and i was explaining the impact of fashion bloggers...actually, i can't go into that because i told her i have a blog. anyway, my car smells like a toilet beacuse water leaked in during the rain and everytime i get in my sunglasses fog up from the moisture, not kidding. im holding out on watching the dexter finale so i can watch it with friends, but i've heard mostly unenthusiastic reactions thus far. bummer.

i went to the beach on friday which was bizarrely warm for december.

spent a LOT of time cuddling with my two dogs. saturday, i went with my parents to pick out our christmas tree which turned into a nightmare from hell and ended with me decorating the entire tree by myself. however, i made a pie and the rest of the night was a success.

i went to Chico this weekend. it was a jam-packed weekend of hiking, swimming, floating, tubing, and hardly sleeping.

went hiking here. literally walking on that 1 ft. wide metal grate on the side of a mountain CLIFF, wanting to puke for about a mile, and then hopping into the tube/flume directly under it that is filled with water (not in the pic, but it is) and you get flushed back down to the bottom of the mountain. craziest stuff EVA, im tellin you.
